Patsy was born March 24, 1935 at Fairmont, Nebraska to Chris and Alice (Svehla) Martson. The family moved to Moscow when she was a year old. In 1964 they moved to Spokane where she continued to live with her parents. Following her mother’s death in 1999, Patsy moved to Clark House in Moscow. She had lived at Glen Haven for the past three years.
Patsy was a very social person and enjoyed family events. Since moving to Pullman, she was an active participant with the Circles of Caring Adult Day Health, rarely missing an opportunity to ride the bus and do crafts and other activities. Pasty and her twin brother Paul were very close, having a special bond.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul, Francis, Richard,
William and Jim. She is survived by her brother Robert Martson of Moscow and a sister, Alice Domrese of Spokane as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for all of Patsy’s caregivers throughout her life, especially the staff at Glen Haven the past three years.
